Product Description
Inspired by the true story of the biggest bank heist of all time, Harry Barber (Travis Fimmel) recounts how in 1972 a gang of close-knit thieves from Youngstown, Ohio attempted to steal $30 Million in illegal campaign contributions from President Richard Nixon's secret fund. But the plan quickly goes sideways, prompting the biggest manhunt in FBI history with more than 125 agents assigned to the case.

I would ask Travis Fimmel to practice his American accent more before filming. His Australian accent seeped through often! Otherwise, he was fun to watch, bringing that comedic touch he is famous for to his character. Heck, he is ALWAYS fun to watch! Kudos on the Steve McQueen reference. LOVED that aspect!
Some films are made to go straight to DVD. This is one of them. Get it while you can!
Take the time, make the journey into the past, and enjoy this film!
The bank heist was about as dull as you could make it, and sometimes it felt like the movie didn't take the subject matter seriously at all, which is a shame because but this is based on a pretty incredible true story.
I will add that the movie had some cool car stunts, solid performances and a great soundtrack, but often it looked like a bunch of 2018 actors in 1970's cosplay. I suspect they had a great time making this movie, I just wish I had a great time watching it.
FUN FACT: The Mini-Uzi used in this film wasn't released until 1980, so apparently there was some time travel going on back in 1972.
Finding Steve McQueen has its heart in the right place, but it ultimately falls short of being a timeless cult classic, and that's the real crime.
