Product Description

Widowed, broke and adrift, farmer Fred Stern (David Strathairn) finds a new purpose in life when he learns that a multi-national oil company has been polluting his water. But as his crusade against the powers that be spills out of the courtroom and into his personal life, Fred must find a way to avoid the ruin of his farm, his family and his dreams. Inspired by bizarre, true events, The Devil Has a Name pulls back the curtain on the culture of greed that poisons Corporate America, from sea to polluted sea.

Relevant story line. Excellent acting. Pablo Schreiber was a juicy delight as always. EJA and Strathairn are class actors but Kate Bosworth stole the show. Love her slick character portrayal. I believe its her best role ever.

Compared to some of the movies I see on Amazon and Netflix, this holds up. A little slow and a little predictable but overall well done.

This cast will keep you interested and amaze you at what can and is being done to American farms, in the name of profit & Progress. I enjoyed it and was flustered by it.

Typical corruption at several levels, but had some good twists that made ordering this movie worth my time.

This movie was so boring... I hardly paid any attention to it. I can’t even remember what it was about.

Da fan di Schreiber desideravo vederlo appena possibile, anche se il prezzo era un po’ alto. Purtroppo, nonostante fosse indicato come formato europeo, è arrivato con codice USA e quindi non visibile su lettori con limitazioni.
