makes you nervous that this might happen, very real possibility.

I saw the reviews and almost didn't rent it. I actually appreciated it.

Spoiler: The main character is the typical Wall-Street guy who got caught in his corruption. This time he gets a chance to redeem himself by saving the markets he manipulated. At least that what it appears to be at first. He wants to be the hero his daughter used to see him as. In order to do so, he has to help the average person.

After the recession, the big banks were bailed out, but not the people hurt most by it. This movie represented a chance to make the financial institutions that are to big to fail to finally pay. The average person was going to get the short stick anyway. He was giving a big middle finger to the big banks and people who got rich on wall-street so they could finally feel what the average person feels when things like this happen. I saw him not taking action as teaching them a lesson. That way they don't keep screwing average people over just to capitalize on the gains they get when the market recovers. These financial institutions fund campaigns in order to get law makers to de-regulate them and ensure they never fail. By screwing over the financial institutions and the the politicians who run their agenda, this gives the power back to the people and forces financial institutions and politicians to do something different.

You have to understand both the political and the financial implications behind his decision making. It also gives some rationale to the convenient 10 year financial crisis average. The acting was okay. The characters could have been developed better. The message could have been delivered better as well. They could have made it to where they save the stock market but hold the fed reserve secretary and big banks responsible for a predictable happy ending. However, in reality that would never happen, but that's why this is a movie. Movies don't have to be based on reality. Because of that, I do see why people rated this movie poorly, especially if any were negatively impacted by what happened during the last recession.

Superficial and simplistic, yet is able to stir excitement nontheless. The acting is good enough.

OK, so I watch the film and at the end It's an automatic: "WTF?" Where's the movie? Is that all there is?

I have now watched the film three times looking for the film, but have the same reaction every time.

The fact that I have been able to watch it three times says something - there is always an air of excitement, yet when all is said and done I still can't find the film.

It's OK, but could have been far better. The subject of the story line is inherehntly interesting and sadly a very real possibility, but greater depth into that subjct matter and a bit more complexity in the story-line, could have made this a five star film.

The shallow portayal of the attempted "rescue" is a major flaw of the film.

But I guess that any film I can watch three times is at least OK :-)

Very enlightening movie.

I wish there was a way to give this stinking turd a negative star rating. I couldn't watch past the first thirty minutes. Terrible acting, total bs for "hackers", and a bunch of stuff that doesn't fit any resemblance of the reality they pretend to be in. Save your money and hit your head with a hammer.

Maybe a spoiler.

It needed something more. I assumed he would be framed and somehow turn it around but he just did the unthinkable. He was supposed to be likable eventually but any thinking person would see him as not only unlikable but uncaring considering what would happen to the population due to his lack of action.

VAXIA
1.0 out of 5 stars DISGUSTING AND REVOLTING SCENES
Reviewed in Canada on March 15, 2017
IF ONLY AMAZON WOULD ALLOW ME TO RATE THIS MOVIE A "0", NO STARS, INSTEAD OF ONE. THIS MOVIE DOES NOT DESERVE STARS. DISGUSTING AND REVOLTING SCENES, AND SUBPLOTS THAT I DIDN'T FIND NECESSARY FOR THIS MOVIE. I ONLY WATCHED THE 1ST 1/2 HOUR. THIS MOVIE HAS ABSENT PARENTS, CHILDHOOD CANCER AND A CHARACTER THAT PLAYS A MINOR HAVING SEX WITH AN ADULT. WHICH THE PARENTS APPARENTLY FIND OK!! THIS MOVIE IS NOT EVEN WORTH RESELLING. I THREW IT OUT. DON'T WATCH THIS MOVIE.
